PROJECT MANAGER - ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY CONSULTANT (ID #PMEHS0711)

Position Summary:

NES has an immediate opening for an EH&S Consultant at the Project Manager capacity in our Folsom, California office. Responsibilities include: project/client management, budget and deliverable tracking; perform fieldwork, research and interpret data; develop/review reports/proposals; perform as regulatory liaison for clients, and conduct business development. Typically projects include: Compliance/EMS Audits; Regulatory Permitting; Environmental Liability Assessments; Hazardous Materials/Waste Management Plans; SWPPPs; SPCC Plans; SB-14; CalARP & PSM Programs; Air/Water Quality Assessments, and similar projects.

Qualifications:

EH&S Project Manager position requires a BS degree in Environmental Sciences/Engineering or related degree. MS degree with professional registration/certification is preferred. The individual must be a project manager with a minimum of 10 years of recent consulting experience in the environmental field. Excellent communication skills, technical aptitude, project management & business development skills/experience are essential. A clean DMV record and some travel are required.
