Objectives
To meet annual refresher training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120 and 8 CCR 5192 for individuals working at hazardous waste clean–up sites.

Overview
Updated yearly, topics include regulatory changes, protective clothing trends, expanded chemical hazards, field safety, respiratory protection changes, and revised hazard assessment techniques.
This course meets the 29 CFR 1910.120 and 8 CCR 5192 OSHA refresher requirement. Designed for individuals who successfully completed the 24 or 40–hr HAZWOP course and are looking to maintain proficiency and stay current with regulatory changes. Individuals who are medically evaluated and present a physician’s written consent and bring their personal respirator, will receive a qualitative fit test free of charge. NES offers a quantitative fit test for an additional fee of $35. The test meets the annual fit testing requirement. Each student will receive a printed copy of the PowerPoint presentation and a CD of the course

The regulations require a yearly 8–hour refresher training course. NES offers an 8-hour refresher course for 50% off the catalog price to all students that take the 40–hour HAZWOP or the 24–hour HAZWOP through NES.
