Who Should Attend
This training program is strongly recommended for personnel who are responsible for preparing or signing Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest. It is recommended that participants have completed their initial DOT Hazardous Material Employee training and should also complete a Generator Training course prior to attending this program.

Objectives
This course provides an overview on the completion, distribution and retention requirements for the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest system. The course fulfills the function–specific training needed to comply with 49 CFR 172.704 for employees who prepare and ship hazardous waste by commercial carriers.

Overview
Course includes an overview of the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest system and completion of the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest. The new federal manifest which became effective September 6, 2006 is covered. Program meets the function–specific training requirements for shipping papers as listed in 49 CFR 172.704, as well as supplement HazWaste Training requirements (for those who complete and/or sign the manifest). Students will receive a course manual and a certificate of completion.
