About Kim Worl
Kim Worl has been a Principal Industrial Hygienist with NES, Inc. since 2013. In his consulting capacity, Kim is responsible for business development, project management and implementation, and responding to client proposal requests. He also directs health and safety compliance assessments, performs regulatory analysis and program development, conducts training, and provides support for hazardous waste remediation projects.
Most of Kim’s projects are initiated to assess and improve workplace and community safety. His areas of expertise include workplace exposure assessments, occupational health and safety compliance, indoor air quality, and moisture intrusion and mold assessments. He has over 33 years of experience in occupational health and safety consulting, with considerable experience developing point source and ambient air quality measurement programs. His clients include manufacturing and assembly operations, semiconductor manufacturers, chemical and petroleum agencies, mining companies, residential home builders, commercial property developers, management firms, attorneys, and public sector entities.
In addition to his work with NES, Kim is an expert witness supporting litigation relating to workplace exposures, indoor air quality, moisture intrusion, and mold growth.
Before joining the NES team, Kim served as Senior Scientist for Geomatrix Consultants, Inc., and then for AMEC Environment and Infrastructure). Before this, he served as Senior Industrial Hygienist for URS Corporation, Staff Industrial Hygienist for Radian Corporation, and Environmental Hazard Scientist for California Department of Food and Agriculture.
