San Mateo County Environmental Health Department is providing FREE hazardous waste management webinar training for businesses within San Mateo County that generate hazardous waste as part of their operations and are classified as small quantity generators (SQGs). This training program covers the basics of hazardous waste identification, proper labeling, and accumulation, transportation, and disposal regulations for self-generated hazardous waste and universal waste as well as applicable recordkeeping requirements. Participants will receive a comprehensive course manual and Student Resource Packet as electronic file downloads upon registration as well as a record of training and certificate of completion following the training.
