Course Overview
The Cal/OSHA 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher course is specifically designed for employees working in California to stay in compliance with both 29 CFR 1910.120 and 8 CCR 5192. This course also satisfies the 8 CCR 5192(e) and (p) refresher requirements for emergency response personnel. This refresher course covers regulatory changes, use of the Emergency Response Guidebook, personal protective equipment, chemical hazard classification, field safety, emergency response operations, respiratory protection, and hazard assessment techniques.
Who Should Attend
Our Cal/OSHA Refresher is specifically designed to cover the regulations in California. Attendees should also have previously taken the 40-Hour HAZWOPER or 24-Hour HAZWOPER training. It is also for emergency responders who have received First Responder Operations, Incident Commander, or Hazardous Materials Technician training and are looking to maintain proficiency and stay current with regulatory changes.
