Overview:
Earn a 40-Hour HAZWOPER certificate by supplementing the 24-Hour HAZWOPER course to fulfill the 40-Hour HAZWOPER training standard training requirements.* The topics covered in the 16-Hour HAZWOPER Supplemental include air monitoring, respiratory protection, site control, sampling, field-specific operations, and a field exercise incorporating the use of personal protective equipment, monitoring, sampling, and decon practices. Each student will receive a manual and a certificate of completion.

Individuals who are medically evaluated, present a physician’s written consent, and bring their personal respirator will receive a qualitative fit test free of charge. NES offers a quantitative fit test for an additional fee of $35 (available at our Folsom training facility only; this can be added to your order once you have placed this course in your cart).

*Students must provide proof that they completed 24-Hour HAZWOPER training.

Objectives:
Contents of this course comply with 29 CFR 1910.120 regulations and 8 CCR 5192 and will fulfill the requirements for the 40-Hour HAZWOPER training when combined with the 24-Hour HAZWOPER.

This course is for individuals who become general site workers and/or are required to wear respirators at hazardous work sites.
