Objective: Provide students with detailed information on the synthesis and reaction mechanisms of currently trending narcotics and improve students’ ability to testify in court
Target Personnel: Highly experienced forensic chemists, law enforcement, and other first responder personnel working with law enforcement
Prerequisites: 32-Hour Clandestine Laboratory HAZWOPER Safety training; Advanced Clan Labs: Beyond the Basics training (recommended)
Overview: This specialized, highly technical training program covers the reaction mechanisms, byproduct formations, and forensics of the chemistry as it applies to the manufacture of narcotics. Students completing the course will obtain a better understanding of the manufacturing processes behind many of the narcotics trending today. Course completion will also improve a participant’s ability to testify in court and enhance his/her credentials as an expert witness.

This course is typically scheduled the day after our Advanced Clan Labs: Beyond the Basics course so that participants may attend both in one trip.
