Overview:
Updated annually, this one-day course provides a general understanding of the basics of hazardous waste management. The course covers the fundamental practices of recordkeeping and management, tiered permitting, container and tank management requirements, hazardous waste shipping requirements (including EPA’s e-Manifest system), land disposal restrictions (LDRs), on-site treatment, and more. Students will receive a course manual and certificate of completion.

Objectives:
This course is designed to provide participants with a basic understanding of key California and federal hazardous waste management regulations.

Who Should Attend:
This course trains individuals who work at facilities that generate hazardous waste. This program is customized for hazardous waste generators located in California and covers large quantity generator (LQG) and small quantity generator (SQG) standards.
