8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher (EHD Only) – w/Fit Testing

NOTE: workers not completing a refresher after one year following initial or refresher HAZWOPER training are not permitted to work at a qualified site, and Cal/OSHA requires completion of a refresher within 24 months to avoid having to re-take 40-/24-Hour HAZWOPER training.

Parking is available on the streets surrounding the building (the gated parking lot is for employees of the complex).

Applicable Regulations: 29 CFR 1910.120 and 8 CCR 5192 Overview Stay in compliance with both 29 CFR 1910.120 and 8 CCR 5192 with this annual refresher course developed for employees working in California.* This course satisfies 8 CCR 5192 (e) and (p) refresher requirements for emergency response personnel (i.e., those needing to refresh their First Responder Operations, Incident Commander or Hazardous Materials Technician training). This program is updated annually in order to cover any regulatory changes, use of the Emergency Response Guidebook, personal protective equipment trends, chemical hazard classification, field safety, emergency response operations, respiratory protection, and revised hazard assessment techniques. Each student will receive a course manual and a certificate of completion. *8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher training is intended to be completed annually following initial HAZWOPER or other emergency response training (40-Hour HAZWOPER, 24-Hour HAZWOPER, First Responder Operations, Incident Commander, Hazardous Materials Technician) or prior 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher training.
