This program will be presented online in live, instructor-led webinar format. DOT & Hazardous Waste Manifest training. Training will cover identification of DOT-regulated hazardous materials and waste, proper packaging, marking, and labeling, and completion and submittal of the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest form.
This 8-hour training program is for employees who are responsible for preparing and/or signing manifests for hazardous waste shipments.
Class will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Course Description
This 8-hour training program is for employees who are responsible for preparing and/or signing manifests for hazardous waste shipments. Training covers identification of the DOT hazard classes and divisions, use of the DOT Haz Mat table, selection of appropriate shipping names, and proper packaging, marking, labeling, and placarding for DOT-regulated waste shipments. The course also covers the completion, distribution, and retention of the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest for RCRA and non-RCRA hazardous waste.
Class size is limited to 50 participants. This training is free of charge for regulated businesses in San Joaquin County.
