Overview:
This online course provides general awareness of and familiarization with hazardous materials transportation regulations, use of the hazardous materials table, emergency response requirements, preparation of shipping papers, marking, labeling, and placarding. Additional function-specific training may be needed to fully comply with 49 CFR 172.704 requirements for those who load hazardous materials or who operate a vehicle transporting hazardous materials. Once you have signed up you will have 30 days to complete your course, but you will be able to come back any time to access your certificate.
